When I was encouraging it, I thought it would improve how we align our
contributions and set priorities.
But I later realized that we can achieve those things without meetings
via mailing list discussions like this one.

I couldn't find good reasons to make regular meetings.

I encourage Otto's suggestion to do one online meeting and see how it goes.
