I see.  However, lenny is frozen now, so 3.4.0.3-1 or 3.4.0.3-2 will not
help as they will not enter lenny I guess.

Please upload a minimal change fix for the release critical bug for the
version in unstable, so that v-sim can be (hopefully) shipped with
lenny.  I can upload that fix if you prefer, or sponsor your if you send
me a link to a source package (.dsc, .diff.gz).  Alternatively, you can
ask for removal of v-sim from lenny if you do not want to include 3.3.3
in lenny at all.
