Aside from the new upstream release, the other things fixed
build-breakers like the BLAS/LAPACK transition, so it had to happen.
The build broke in a few places, all because the patches were not
applied. It seems I didn't understand the 3.0 (quilt) format, it looks
like if the clean target removes the patches, then the build target has
to re-instate them, that's not done automatically. It worked just fine
for a general build (arch-dep and indep), but apparently not for an
arch-only build.
I'll fix this and re-upload.
