Hi,

I can't repeat this on squeeze/amd64.

Could you check whether LShellConstants.dat is corrupted, i.e.
contains negative values?

Does running this command produce the same error?
PYTHONPATH="/usr/lib/pyshared/python2.6/PyMca:/usr/share/pyshared/PyMca:$PYTHONPATH"
python2.6 -c "import LShell"
