I just commited the patch Alexey (upstream) proposed via SVN to the
problem, as I had some other mail exchange with him, to find the
problem.

It is now uploaded to the archive, could you test 0.6.3-2 as soon it
appears on your mirrors? Or you could too get it from incoming.d.o
right now: http://incoming.debian.org/
