Now that you mention it, I remember that I was kind of aware of this,
but I thought that option (C) was nevertheless worth mentioning, since
people sometimes change their mind after some time.
Make no mistake, I understand the point of view of Coin3D copyright
holders perfectly (they probably chose the GPL exactly to prevent their
library from being mixed or linked with GPL-incompatible code...).
Anyway, as I stated in the bug report, the most desirable solution is
option (A), so, please, help me in persuading Open CASCADE S.A.S!
