Dear Gabriele,
gmsh now depends on OCE (Open CASCADE Community Edition), but this
change does *not* solve the licensing issue, unfortunately, since OCE
is a fork of Open CASCADE Technology, and is released under the terms
of the same license...

Hence, we are back in square one: Open CASCADE S.A.S. should be
persuaded to re-license Open CASCADE Technology under GPL-compatible
terms.
