Bug#706084: paraview: pvbatch --version hangs

Dear Maintainer,
Pvbatch is used during confiuration of FreeFOAM to check the paraview version 
installed on the system. Though, when running 'pvbatch --version', it hangs 
instead of reporting 'ParaView3.14.1'
