How important is libgdome2-cpp-smart0c2a / gmetadom?

If I remove the package libgdome2-cpp-smart0c2a from the dependency, the
program mathmlviewer will be compiled ...
The configure disables the build when it cannot find
libgdome2-cpp-smart0c2a.

We can always remove it... Its popcon is only 56:
