Hello, I have unpleasant news for this bug, unfortunately.
I found out that basically *all* libav binary packages are effectively
under the GNU GPL v2 or later (some are even under the GNU GPL v3 or
later).
I suggested [1] to clearly document this situation, since it's
currently not apparent at all.

It seems that netgen should really disable any linking with libav
libraries, until Open CASCADE S.A.S. is persuaded to re-license Open
CASCADE Technology under GPLv2-and-v3-compatible terms.
