moving dxflib 2.5.0 out of experimental

I am preparing to sponsor cloucompare into the archive:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=730638

This need dxflib 2.5.0, which is currently in experimental (and has been since june), but not sid.

Is there any reason not to upload this to sid now?

If not can I prevail on someone to do it, or should I NMU it?

I guess I should also ask whether the Debian science team would like to
take cloudcompare under its wing too? That might be more sensible than
just me looking after it. But I'm not quite sure what the remit of the
team is?

I already maintain a set of cave-surveying packages, which I guess
more-or-less count as science, and that's the reason for my interest in
this package too. (Someone asked me why it was in Ubuntu but not Debian)
