Package: libcolpack0v5
Version: 1.0.9-3.1
Severity: serious
User: debian-qa at lists.debian.org
Usertags: piuparts

Hi,

during a test with piuparts I noticed your package failed to install
because it tries to overwrite other packages files without declaring a
Breaks+Replaces relation.

See policy 7.6 at
https://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-relationships.html#s-replaces

>From the attached log (scroll to the bottom...):

  Selecting previously unselected package libcolpack0v5:amd64.

  Unpacking libcolpack0v5:amd64 (1.0.9-3.1) ...
dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/apt/archives/libcolpack0v5_1.0.9-3.1_amd64.deb (--unpack):
trying to overwrite '/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libColPack.so.0.0.0', which is also in package libcolpack0:amd64 1.0.9-3
dpkg-deb: error: subprocess paste was killed by signal (Broken pipe)
  Errors were encountered while processing:
   /var/cache/apt/archives/libcolpack0v5_1.0.9-3.1_amd64.deb

cheers,

Andreas
