Of course, pick the license you want for these. CeCILL-C is probably fine.

In that case, just remove the image lena.bmp, it is actually not used by any
of the examples provided, nor the library itself of course.

The only not-free image is probably 'lena.bmp', and it can be removed safely
without impacting the library features or example codes.
