Seems so.  I build in a chroot with GCC 5.1 as default (and gcc-4.9
and similar pointing to gcc-5) and it failed; I generated a new
GENERIC64.tar.bz2 but I had no idea what any of the changes meant; I
then built again (using the old GENERIC64.tar.bz2) and it built
fine...
