Bug#822568: librecad: PDF export lacks option to set page format to the minimum bounding box

Package: librecad
Version: 2.0.9-2
Severity: wishlist

Hello again,
another thing I noticed, while testing the PDF export function of
LibreCAD (please refer to the already sent test case of
bug #822556 [1]): the PDF file is produced with the page format
specified in the current drawing preferences (e.g.: A4).
As a consequence, the PDF file may include large blank areas and/or
fail to show some parts of the drawing, unless the user carefully
places the drawing in the "virtual paper" (which, by the way, does
not seem to be clearly shown in the GUI...).

I think that an option to automatically set the page format to the
minimum bounding box that emcompasses all visible objects would
be highly useful. It could be an option for the PDF export function,
or a global option, I am not sure. But I really feel it would greatly
improve the usefulness of librecad.

Please forward my report upstream.

Thanks for your time.
Bye!
