| Hi Dirk,
|
| There is already a package named r-cran-gsl in Debian.

| So I'm reassigning your ITP to the existing package in Debian so the current

Sorry, it it something else. I was wrong in my ITP title by not my package:
Source: r-cran-rcppgsl
[...]
Package: r-cran-rcppgsl
I packaged this upstream package (of mine):
https://cloud.r-project.org/web/packages/RcppGSL/index.html
It mostly offers GSL vector and matrix interfaces, not the whole of GSL or
special functions.
What you found, however, is that I _incorrectly_ labeled my ITP as r-cran-gsl
which would be this package:
https://cloud.r-project.org/web/packages/gsl/index.html
This one offers special functions etc -- but they are not the same.
Can you revert the four commands above? I may not be as handy with the bug tracker.
"My" new package should then still come out of NEW.
Makes sense?
Dirk
