Hello Peter, 

with the same reasoning as in #826048 I mark this as wontfix. I also
downgrade it to wishlist, because I think that the changes needed to
fix this are rather grave and offer little gain. 

As for the listing of packages from 6.2 on the sid page of src:vtk6, I
think there all packages are listed that are in sid and are created by
some version of vtk6 regardless of the latest version number that is
listed, and since there are still packages in sid that are compiled
against vtk-6.2 these libvtk*6.2 packages are (still) listed there.
