Source: slepc
Version: 3.6.3.dfsg1-3+b1
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainers,

the new slepc major version 3.7 has been released, with quite relevant
new functionality (i.e. from the changes " Now most solvers allow a
user-defined criterion to stop iterating based on a callback function").
It will need the new version of petsc to be simultaneously packaged, since
it is not compatible with older petsc versions and cannot be compiled
against them.
Any chance to have them quickly packaged, at least for experimental?
I am very much willing to test them, if testers are needed.

Thanks in advance
Giacomo Mulas
