Ok, I could agree that freemat is probably not to be blamed for this.

But this is of course a bug, and it is of course serious, because
packages in testing *must* be buildable in testing (release policy).

So, the bug would be really something like this:

"llvm 3.8 is not the default llvm compiler in stretch yet"

which seems RC enough to me, because we have already packages in
testing requiring llvm 3.8 to be the default.

Simple question: Are there more packages like this one, which fail
to build when llvm 3.8 is not the default?

If not, I'm ok with you closing this one as you already did.

But if yes, it might be worth to reopen, reassign to release.debian.org
and start using "affects" to track all of them.
