Source: benchmark
Version: 1.3.0-1
Severity: important
Tags: upstream
Justification: fails to build from source
User: debian-s390 at lists.debian.org
Usertags: s390x

Builds of benchmark for some architectures have failed with

/<<PKGBUILDDIR>>/src/cycleclock.h:166:2: error: #error You need to define CycleTimer for your OS and CPU

So far, this error has shown up on s390x and the non-release
architectures hppa and sh4, and I anticipate encountering it on the
non-release architectures alpha and m68k as well.

I'm usertagging the relevant architectures in hopes that porters will
weigh in with recommendations, but see that cycleclock.h does also
supply a fallback implementation whose scope you can broaden as
needed.

Could you please take a look?

Thanks!
