Bug#877105: do not mangle upstream version number

Upstream version number is 1.0-3, not 1.0.3.

We should stop mangling the number, to facilitate the functioning of
translation of CRAN dependencies to Debian dependencies.

This can be easily done if/when a new upstream version ≥ 1.1 is out.
