Segyio 1.8.0 new upstream release

I applied the patch upstream and released a new version 1.8.1, which is available in salsa. I didn't remove the entry for 1.8.0 in the changelog, which is buildable (in serial), but not uploaded to the archives. Is that bad style? Should the 1.8.0 entry be removed altogether and the two changelog entries merged?
