Package: intel-mkl
Version: 2018.3.222-1
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

while I fully understand that you would like to use newer python (3.6),
this makes it harder to backport the package to stretch (3.5).

How about only generating the files when creating the source package,
rather than during every build. that way, you would need to run it only
before uploading the package, once; and none of the buildds would run it
again which would also make the package a bit more resiliant.

Most other packages that do generate things do it that way too (most
prominently the linux kernel packages).

Regards,
Daniel
