Note, that FreeCAD 0.17 is already uploaded to Debian, but only to
the "experimental" distribution. You can do this:

$ echo deb https://deb.debian.org/debian/ experimental main | \
     sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/experimental.list
$ sudo apt update
$ sudo apt install -t experimental freecad
