Dear Maintainer,

The help input box is non-functional in that it only allows one character to be
written. This appears to be a known issue that was supposed to have been solved
in spyder 3.3.4 (see
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/55203628/spyder-3-3-3-help-input-box-
problem-can-only-type-1-character).
