Package: libmumps-ptscotch-dev
Version: 5.1.2-4+b2
Severity: important
Dear Maintainers,
The library SEGFAULT on the buster(stable) package libmumps-ptscotch-dev 5.1.2-4+b2 for the amd64 architecture.
I used some well-known medium-sized sparse matrix as tests.
This problem could be fixed on buster by a simple recompilation of the package:
apt-get source mumps
cd mumps-5.1.2
dpkg-buildpackage -us -uc -sa -j1
dpkg -i libmumps-5.1.2-4_amd64.deb libmumps-dev-4_amd64.deb libmumps-scotch-5.1.2-4_amd64.deb libmumps-scotch-dev-4_amd64.deb libmumps-ptscotch-5.1.2-4_amd64.deb libmumps-ptscotch-dev-4_amd64.deb
On the bullseye (testing) distrib, there is no problem at all.
So, perhaps a binanry dependency has change for mumps on buster(stable),
and (I dont known why) the package has not been yet recompiled ?
Best wishes,
Pierre
