Yes, that was my plan anyway. I am quite close to python3-mdp upstream anyway, so I'll make sure to patch mdp and help to get out a new release that works in both situations. Thanks for taking care of patching libsvm: without your fix there was no way to use libsvm in Python 3 by using the Debian package ;-)

Oh no, that's quite a good news instead.: now I can patch python3-mdp and reinstate libsvm support. I owe you a couple of beers or what ever other drinks you may prefer instead ;-)
