Package: python3-pandas
Version: 1.0.5+dfsg-3
Severity: wishlist
Control: block -1 by 969648 969649
pandas 1.1.x is currently in experimental. The upstream description
suggests this is not supposed to be an API break, but does have new
warnings.
Packages tested with it (build + autopkgtest):
augur azure-kusto-python caffe changeo cnvkit dask dask.distributed
debian-astro debian-science drms glueviz hdmf igdiscover influxdb-python
intake jsonpickle keras lmfit-py matplotlib metaphlan2 metview-python

*Regressions* with pandas 1.1.x:
dask (#969648) python-skbio (#969649)
Already broken with pandas 1.0.x, but not obviously worse with 1.1.x:
dask.distributed intake matplotlib mlpack nbsphinx osmnx
python-biom-format python-cogent python-cooler python-nanoget q2-* qiime
rdkit sklearn-pandas sunpy yanagiba
(Note that
https://release.debian.org/britney/pseudo-excuses-experimental.html#pandas
does not require the reference (unstable) test to be up to date: the
other "regressions" it lists are where the reference was old enough to
be 0.25.x.)
