Bug#1001516: python-statsmodels-doc (and maybe others?): Broken search capability due to incompatible change in new sphinx 4.3

The statsmodels in unstable (though not testing) is already built 
against sphinx 4.3, but this sounds like it might affect other packages. 
  Is that likely, and if so, what should we do about it?
