Thanks for picking this one up, Adrian.  It turns out that it is
actually an upstream bug and this package is currently not being
actively worked on.  And it turns out this is not just a FTBFS bug,
but actually a "this package just doesn't work" bug.  So this bug will
keep it out of testing (which is good).
