Using newer MKL packages as BLAS/LAPACK providers

Hi lumin,
  I was wondering what the status is in debian about updating the MKL
packages to newer versions. Intel has started adding a SONAME to
their library so we can't just use the symlink and hope it works.
We have a bug open on bugzilla - https://bugs.gentoo.org/754930
I've also made a working solution by using dummy libraries for
runtime linking - https://github.com/bsd-ac/gentoo-blas-lapack

Has debian decided on a solution to this problem yet?
