Dear Colleague, 

As you are probably aware of, theEuropean Commission has yet again delayed the adoption date of Horizon Europework programmes, leaving beneficiaries to worry about a potential funding gap.Although some calls for proposals for the European Research Council and theEuropean Innovation Council have already been launched, still for the rest ofthe Ç95.5 billion programme, the Commission is currently finalising documentslaying out the timelines, budget, and scope of dozens of calls for proposals to be launched over the next two years. Furthermore, within May and June 2021 we expect manyother work programmes to be finalised and adopted. 

In European Academywe have designed and launched aunique 3-days training course, "Proposal Writing for Research & Innovation Projects", focusing on addressing the needs of the people bearing theresponsibility of developing project proposals. 

Short Course Agenda:

Day 1 - MATCHING PROJECTS TO FUNDING SOURCES
 1 Overview of the Programming Period 2021-2027 funding opportunities.
 2 Types of funding streams under Innovation Policy 2021-2027 and the small details under each funding stream that matter.
 3 How to ensure the best fit between your project and an available funding stream/Call.
 4 Exploring the different notions of innovation.
 5 Questions/answers on funding streams and discussion 

Day 2 - ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS OF WINNING PROPOSALS
 1 An overview of winning proposal essential features (precision & clarity, planning & research, realism, grasping text, documentation & data)
 2 Developing the best project justification (vision, need, opportunity, goals & objectives, outcomes)
 3 Demonstrating impact.
 4 Pulling together the right assets (partners, experience, intellectual property, tangible & intangible resources)
 5 Putting yourself in the role of the "evaluator"
 6 Workshop/exercise session (short proposal on "imaginary agreed project": participants will work on justification and impact pathways)

Day 3 - DEMONSTRATING GOOD PLANNING AND CONTROL OF THE IMPLEMENTATION PROCESS
 1 Working-out the implementation plan: tips and exercises for a well thought-out "work plan" (activities, time-planning, resources, cost, flexibility)
 2 Dealing with risk: tips and exercises for a good risk management plan
 3 Developing a sound dissemination and exploitation plan: demonstrating viability/sustainability of your project
 4 Workshop/exercise session (short proposal on "imaginary agreed project": participants will work on workplan, risk management, dissemination & exploitation plan of the project developed in DAY 2) 

The training is delivered with a hands-on approach that includesstep-by-step guidance along with tips and hints addressing all key issuescentral to a well-presented proposal. Our upcoming scheduled course dates are as follows:
