FTBFS with Python 3.10:

Tests fail with:
E   AttributeError: module 'collections' has no attribute 'Mapping'

Looks like upstream fixed this issue years ago, updating to a new
upstream version would probably be good.

But, in the meantime, we can probably patch it.
