Dear Maintainer,

hepmc is unmaintained (see MIA bug #925104).
It has no reverse dependencies in Debian, beside rivet and pythia8,
both packages are in the same unmaintained state.
It was never part of any Debian release.

It is currently RC buggy with this bug:
#916132 [S|⛺|  ] [src:hepmc] hepmc FTBFS: FAIL testWeights

I therefore propose to RM the package, after rivet has been RMed.

If you disagree, just close this bug, but please show the package some love.
Especially, it is in need of an human maintainer (refering to Policy 5.6.3)

If you agree, reassign the bug to ftp.debian.org

If there is no answer, I will reassing the bug in exactly 3 months
to ftp.debian.org to make the RM happen.
