Thanks for the follow up.
I can also see the garbling, when setting the (font) scaling in gnome-tweaks to e.g 0.9...
When installing freecad from flatpak: the same. (The version there was ~ May 2021)
I've tested an few other qt5 apps, they are all behaving ok...
So I guess it could be an FreeCAD upstream issue... (HiDPI support is still marked as
WIP, and this is probably in this domain...)
