There is an ongoing effort to replace vtk7 by vtk9 but as you might
imagine its not that simple.

There is ongoing work on these packages and if I'm not misleaded there
are bugs filed against all these packages.

I've just replaced the recommends / suggests of vtk7 by vtk9.

Fixed in Git - I see no need for an upload right now.

I'm CCing the gdcm bug - the upstream maintainer is just in CC of your
mail.
