Bug#1012523: gnuplot: Please review the build-dependencies

Source: gnuplot
Version: 5.4.2+dfsg2-2
Severity: normal

Hello,

gnuplot is not building on some ports due to the build-dependencies
against some Qt libraries (mainly QtWebkit), but looking in the code it
seems that some of these are not needed anymore (removing these BD
results in the same binary packages)

In the configure I see: PKG_CHECK_MODULES_NOFAIL(QT, [Qt5Core Qt5Gui Qt5Network Qt5Svg Qt5PrintSupport])

So AFAICS, at least libqt5webkit5-dev and libqt5opengl5-dev are not
needed anymore

Could you please check?

Kind regards,
Laurent Bigonville
