Bug#1023975: neuron: newer version available upstream

Source: neuron
Version: 7.6.3-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

While trying to upgrade a reverse dependency of python3-neuron
(bmtk), I noticed that the current version of neuron in debian
is v7.6 from 2019, but upstream is providing a v8.0 since 2021
if I trust timestamps at [1]. As far as I could witness, the
watch file seems to try to match an older version of the web
page, not broken down by version number, so maybe it can have
gone below the radar.

Have a nice day, :)
