[issue] OpenFOAM package on WSL2/Ubuntu is broken

Dear all,

Following this post
<https://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/openfoam-installation/246949-there-no-bin-folder-inside-installation-directory.html#post842272>,
I am being told that the default OpenFOAM package on Ubuntu is broken. Here
on Repology, I see that Kurt Kremitzki is the maintainer of the package. He
used to be present on the #openfoam channel <https://discord.gg/5hXCM8K> on
the Elmer Discord server, though I haven't seen him for a while. I tried
emailing him on his Gmail and sent him a message on LinkedIn, to no avail.
I would appreciate it if you could help me know what is the problem and how
it should be solved.
