What's the content of the file (up to the first blank line):
/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/python_lsp_black-1.2.1.egg-info/PKG-INFO 

It *should* begin with:

Metadata-Version: 2.1
Name: python-lsp-black
Version: 1.2.1
Summary: Black plugin for the Python LSP Server
[...]

but I wonder if it does?
