Package: libsfst-dev
Version: 1.5.8-2
Severity: serious

Hi,
during a test with piuparts I noticed your package failed to install
because it tries to overwrite other packages files.
>From the attached log (scroll to the bottom...):
Preparing to unpack .../libsfst-dev_1.5.8-2_amd64.deb ...
Unpacking libsfst-dev (1.5.8-2) ...
dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/apt/archives/libsfst-dev_1.5.8-2_amd64.deb (--unpack):
trying to overwrite '/usr/include/utf8.h', which is also in package libutfcpp-dev 3.2.5+really3.2.4-2
Errors were encountered while processing:
/var/cache/apt/archives/libsfst-dev_1.5.8-2_amd64.deb
The two utf8.h headers provided by the different packages seem to be
completely unrelated.
sfst probably shouldn't provide headers with such generic names:
/usr/include/utf8.h
/usr/include/mem.h
/usr/include/interface.h
/usr/include/basic.h
/usr/include/alphabet.h
(They should probably rather be in a "namespace" subfolder like "fst".)
cheers,
Andreas
