Upstream here.

The UI part of GFM is pretty small, much smaller than TILP was or TIEmu 
is. It should therefore be easier to port to GTK+Builder, or even 
rewrite using Qt, as I mentioned in 
https://github.com/debrouxl/tilp_and_gfm/issues/72 linked previously.
But in the end, someone has to do the work; it hasn't been me, or anyone
else in the past decade, AFAICT. GFM's functionality is relatively 
narrow, and it probably doesn't have many users. I haven't had to work 
much on it over the 15 years since I became the maintainer of the 
libti*/gfm/tilp stack.
I won't oppose if you want to remove gfm from the set of packages for 
the next release, or the Debian archive.
Anyway, thanks for packaging it and maintaining the package throughout 
the years :)
