Dear Maintainer,

I see this problem exactly as described.
I downloaded/ran FreeCAD_0.20.2-2022-12-27-conda-Linux-x86_64-py310.AppImage and the problem does not appear to exist in upstream.
I am eagerly awaiting the efforts of the smarter people.
