As I have previously said, you can access the FXAA parameters by
clicking on the "Toggle advanced properties" button (the little button
with a gear icon in it) in the "Render View" tab of
the Settings dialog window.
There you should find (I've just checked with paraview/5.12.1+dfsg-3)
the parameters I was talking about.

We are talking about Free Software, the Debian packagers can modify
whatever they see fit.
What you mean is that you prefer not to deviate from upstream on
algorithm implementation or default parameter values, in a way that
would affect obtained results.

The results of my tests are still the same with paraview/5.12.1+dfsg-3
I am still convinced that better default values for the FXAA parameters
could be set by the upstream developers.
Please reopen this bug report and forward it upstream.
Thanks for your time and patience.
