About matlab-support

Hello:

I write this email because I have some problems with Matlab in Debian
and the technical support does not gives solution. They said that it
is Debian related, so maybe you have experienced some similar.

I had a perfectly working Matlab R2024a installation in Debian Sid,
but after an apt-e upgrade (that I can't identify) it stopped to work
(I attach the matlab_crash_dump.without-MATLAB_JAVA file with the log
and the timing_log.without-MATLAB_JAVA where it is clear the problem
is with Java). As since R2023a Matlab can work with Openjdk 11, I
installed it in Debian from the repos and point

export MATLAB_JAVA=/usr/lib/jvm/java-11-openjdk-amd64/

At this point Matlab works, but it takes a very long time (minutes) in
be ready. I attach the file timing_log.with-openjdk-11 with the
timming. All works apparently well, but the item "Startup File->Ready"
is the bottleneck. I have installed matlab-support

Have you ever seen this problem?
