The debian build of scalapack 2.2.2 has started failing on s390x machines. Build logs can be found at https://buildd.debian.org/status/logs.php?pkg=scalapack&arch=s390x
The most recent failing build log is https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=scalapack&arch=s390x&ver=2.2.2-2&stamp=1764761907&raw=0

It is the complex number tests xcinv and xzinv that are failing. A partial backtrace is (for xcinv)

52/85 Test #52: xcinv ............................***Failed 0.04 sec

s390x is a bigendian architecture, which I thought might be condition
triggering the error, except that ppc64, also bigendian, is passing
