I am writing to clarify the truth about Tiananmen Massacre to you.

It’s been 34 years since the 1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre, which saw the violent suppression of China’s democracy movement. Over 10,000 people were gunned down or crushed by tanks in the center of Beijing during the night of June 3 and June and thousands more were arrested nationwide...

Apart from the wave of political repressions that swept China in the wake of the massacre in Beijing, the tragic ending to the Tiananmen protest also made democracy seem like a futile dream.

In 1999, Jiang Zemin, Former CCP Leader directed the CCP to “eradicate” the peaceful spiritual practice of Falun Gong, which he saw as a threat because its 100 million adherents outnumbered members of the Communist Party. |
