Hi Lucas,
Thanks for the bug report. The bug is caused by a backward uncompatible
change in the swig package, introduced in version 4.3.0.
PLplot is seemingly dead upstream. Unless someone steps in with a new
patch, I am afraid this bug will not be fixed.
