Bug#1114431: v-sim: diff for NMU version 3.8.0-1.1

Hi,

the new upstream version also does not build with gcc-15.
@Damien, do you have spare cycles to investigate this (together
with upstream)?

I used Adrian's solution, did some slight polishing and uploaded the
latest version anyway.
