Package: src:eccodes
Version: 2.45.0-1
Tags: forky sid ftbfs
Control: affects -1 src:cdo src:cfgrib src:coyote src:eccodes src:eccodes-python src:ecmwflibs src:fdb src:flexpart src:flextra src:glgrib src:gnudatalanguage src:idlastro src:magics++ src:metkit src:metview src:mpfit src:pygrib src:ruby-grib
Severity: serious
Hello. During a rebuild of all packages in unstable, the following packages
failed to build:
cdo
cfgrib
coyote
eccodes
eccodes-python
ecmwflibs
fdb
flexpart
flextra
glgrib
gnudatalanguage
idlastro
magics++
metkit
metview
mpfit
pygrib
ruby-grib
For example, cdo fails in this way:
[...]
checking for the CMOR library... suppressed
checking for grib_api.h... yes
checking for library containing grib_get_message... no
configure: error: Could not link to eccodes library
I've put build logs for all the above packages here:
https://people.debian.org/~sanvila/build-logs/202602/
All the packages in the above list have libeccodes-dev in their build-depends,
except these three:
coyote
idlastro
mpfit
But those fail with a similar error:
gdl: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libeccodes.so.0: undefined symbol: _ZTIN5eckit3geo4SpecE
which looks like it's also eccodes failt.

Thanks.
